Trinity Laban presents 'Radical Ensembles' at the ICA
Trinity Laban Presents Radical Ensembles
Tuesday 28 May, 7pm
£5 / Free to ICA Members
As part of Trinity Laban's ongoing relationship with the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London, two experimental ensembles from Trinity Laban will devise and rehearse material publicly at the ICA during the day from 12pm to 6pm, followed by a public concert at 7pm.
The programme includes two radically different approaches towards contemporary performance:
The first, Stompy's Playground, is a mixed jazz and classical band playing contemporary electronic music from artists such as Flying Lotus, Bonobo & DeadMau5.
The second, the Inquietus Project, is Andreas Papapetrou's mixed music and dance group, that will break down the ritual of the concert, deconstructing the sounds and setting of the preceding performance.
In partnership with Trinity Laban.
